The problem with forestry in Nova Scotia is the overharvesting of trees, which has led to deforestation and loss of biodiversity. Clearcutting, in particular, has been a controversial practice, as it removes large swaths of forest and disrupts the natural ecosystem. Additionally, there are concerns about the impact of forestry on water quality and the loss of habitat for wildlife. There is a need for more sustainable forestry practices to ensure the long-term health of the province's forests and the ecosystems they support. **
